The experience

The Ngong Hills ridge walk is a Nairobi classic. We go peak to peak along the "knuckles" with a ranger escort, wind turbines overhead and the Rift Valley below. It’s around 12 km of rolling ups and downs, so it’s a good next step once you’ve done a forest walk.

Itinerary

  1. 7:30 am

    Meet at the gate

    Registration, briefing and warm-up.

  2. 8:00 am

    Ridge walk

    Peak-to-peak hike with snack breaks on the summits.

  3. 2:00 pm

    Finish line

    Pickup point at the far end; shared rides back to the gate.
